I am planning to swap the 151 cu. in. 4cyl/ auto(15mpg) in my 81 Spirit to a 232/258/auto(gotta be better/at least quicker) and want to know if I will need to change the crossmembers?

fyi. ontario pickapart has two ramblers there this week (10/28/09). one is like the one that they keep thrashing on in carcraft magazine. the other is a '64 classic 770 two door that is mostly straight and rust-free, complete and unmolested.

I have a 74' 401 out of a wagoneer. It has been bored .60 over with 9:1 pistons. I'm new to the 401 and was wondering if i could get a little more performance out of a set of heads off a 71'. I have noticed the specs change a great deal in HP from 71 to 74. If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction to get this motor pushing out more HP please let me know. I would like to get around 375 to 400hp out of it

Saw a post on craigslist that had a pic of a 66 ambo with 327 and 3 2 barrel carbs... I have the pic but don't know how to post...wondering if this was a marine application or if another intake manifold can be adapted for this, or what..???

i am looking for information on a problem i am having with the fuel delivery system. it seems like the fuel pressure bleeds off and will not pressurize. the only way to get the engine running is with the use of starting fluid. it has a new mechanical fuel pump and carburator. if anyone has any advice or information if would be appreciated.
